Past President James Aprile served the Eggertsville Hose Company faithfully for nearly 60 years. In addition to serving as President from 1980-1981, FF Aprile dedicated countless hours to the organization in a variety of leadership and service roles.
Jim served as the editor of the department’s monthly newsletter and was co-chair of the Fire Prevention Committee alongside his close friend, the late Firefighter Bernie Leffler. He also served as the company’s long-tenured Treasurer, providing steady leadership and stewardship throughout his years of service.
Jim undoubtedly left a lasting mark on the organization through his dedication, commitment, and friendship. His contributions will not be forgotten, and his presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of serving alongside him.
