Last night, our crew had the opportunity to walk through Windermere Boulevard School for a detailed pre-plan drill. We were able to explore the school’s hidden areas, look over the alarm panels, and learn the various access points we might need during an emergency. It’s not a building we typically get to enter, so the chance to move through classrooms, mechanical spaces, and behind-the-scenes corridors was incredibly valuable.
This walkthrough will hep us build a thorough pre-plan document identifying important locations such as roof hatches, elevator equipment rooms, chemical storage areas, and other critical spaces that support faster, safer responses.
