Tonight’s training drill was all about vehicle extrication. We split the team into two groups, with each one working on opposite sides of the donor vehicle. The challenge was on as both teams raced to remove the doors, open the hood, and pop the trunk. After that, we went over various extrication techniques and practiced removing a simulated victim from the vehicle. The focus of the drill was to familiarize our newer members with our tools and methods. To wrap up the night, we enjoyed some delicious chicken finger subs, generously provided by our amazing house committee. It was a fantastic training session, and everyone walked away having learned something new!
