Firefighters arrived on location to find the structure at 214 Buckeye Rd. well involved. Crews brought the blaze under control in under an hour. Total damage was estimated at $70,000.00 to the structure, $50,000.00 to the contents.

Crews responded to a bedroom fire at 1775 Eggert Road this afternoon. Initial attack crews made a search of the structure and extinguished the fire within fifteen minutes. The fire caused $40,000.00 damage to the property and $70,000.00 damage to the contents.

Crews extinguished a fire in the wall of a Bailey Ave. home that caused a total of $8,500.00 in damage. The cause of the fire appears to be electrical in nature but remains under investigation by the fire inspector.

At 00:45 Eggertsville Firefighters were dispatched to a reported house fire called in by a neighbor. Arriving firefighters found fire on the exterior of the house with minor extension into the residence.

At 22:25 Eggertsville Firefighters were dispatched for a garbage can on fire next to the House. First arriving firefighters found that the fire had extended up the side of the house and into the basement.

Eggertsville FF's responded to an MVA w/ extrication at Sheridan Dr near Sweet Home Rd. Upon arrival, FF's had a 2 vehicle MVA w/ 2 patients to extricate. Both patients were tranported by Twin City ambulance, one with significant injury.

A utility representative investigating a natural gas odor compliant discovered a chemical lab in a garage apartment on LeBrun Circle. As a precaution, firefighters were on scene for several hours while law enforcement collected evidence.

Firefighters battled their second structure fire in a week after the report of a basement fire at 217 Lamont Drive. The residents of the home were alerted quickly, and able to escape because of multiple working smoke alarms in the home.

A fire at 1537 Eggert Rd. left $150,000 damage to the contents and structure. Crews responded to the well involved house fire shortly before 10 am, escorting the resident to safety from the structure. The cause remains under investigation.
