(Eggertsville FD) 64 NORMAN PLSTRUCTURE FIRE: POSSIBLE HOUSE FIREWe were dispatched overnight to a report of smoke filling a basement. Upon arrival; crews found moderate smoke conditions in the basement and located and extinguished a fire in the basement area.
Firefighters arrived on location to find the structure at 520 Emerson Dr. well involved. Three firefighters suffered minor injuries while bringing the blaze under control. Total damage was estimated at $145,000.00 and the cause remains under investigation.
Crews responded to a bedroom fire at 1775 Eggert Road this afternoon. Initial attack crews made a search of the structure and extinguished the fire within fifteen minutes. The fire caused $40,000.00 damage to the property and $70,000.00 damage to the contents.
